David L. Riegel, Chairman of the Board

David L. Riegel is Chairman of the Board of Crossroads. Mr. Riegel has served as a member of Crossroads' board of directors since November 1997. From November 1992 to September 1997, Mr. Riegel served as Chief Operating Officer of Exabyte Corporation. Prior to that, he had over 30 years of technology management experience, primarily in the disk drive industry. Mr. Riegel is also on the board of directors of eSoft, Inc., a leading vendor of integrated Internet security and content management solutions since December, 2005. Mr. Riegel holds a B.S.E.E. from Purdue University.

Rob Sims

Rob Sims is the President and Chief Executive Officer for Crossroads Systems and a member of the Crossroads Board of Directors. Sims experience at Crossroads includes previous positions as the Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Engineering and Operations. When Sims joined the Crossroads' team in 1999 he brought with him 13 years of experience in the design, development and manufacturing of computer peripherals. Prior to joining Crossroads, he managed the advanced manufacturing and product test organizations at Kentek Corp., developing high-speed back office printers. From 1990 to 1998, Sims was with Exabyte where he last served as manager of the manufacturing engineering and quality organizations for the high-end tape drive division. Sims holds a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from Colorado State University.

Richard D. Eyestone

Richard D. Eyestone has served as a member of our board of directors since May 1999. From 1993 to September 1996, Mr. Eyestone was employed at Bay Networks as Vice President of Sales and, from September 1996 to September 1998, as Senior Vice President of Market and Product Management. Mr. Eyestone currently serves on the board of directors of eSoft, Inc., TippingPoint Technologies, Inc. and several private companies. Mr. Eyestone holds a B.S.E. in education from Drake University and an M.B.A. from the University of Iowa.

Alan B. Howe

Alan B. Howe joined the board of directors in August 2005. Mr. Howe previously served as vice president of wireless business development for Covad Communications Group, Inc., a public provider of integrated voice and data communications. From 2004 to May 2005, Mr. Howe served as the managing partner of Broadband Initiatives LLC, a privately held company that assesses and develops broadband access strategies and network implementation. From April 2001 to December 2003, Mr. Howe served as a partner at Viseon Partners, a private corporate advisory and M&A firm. From April 1995 to April 2001, Mr. Howe served as the vice president of finance and corporate development and chief financial officer of Teletrac, Inc., a mobile data and vocation solutions for metropolitan mobile workforces company, which is now a private wholly-owned subsidiary of Trafficmaster, PLC. From December 1991 to April 1995, Mr. Howe worked in several positions with Sprint Corporation, including as director of corporate development at WirelessCo., L.P. Mr. Howe holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Illinois, and an MBA in Finance from Indiana University.
