Rainmaker Systems is a leading outsource provider of sales and marketing services for companies that want to drive more sales. Rainmaker complies with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Our current revenue reporting practices are consistent with the revenue reporting criteria established in the Financial Accounting Standards Board's Emerging Issues Task Force Issue No. EITF 99-19 ("Reporting Revenue Gross as a Principal versus Net as an Agent"). We sell products and services on behalf of our clients whereby we record revenue "net," equal to the amount we earn in the transaction.
