About Simtek:
Simtek is a fabless chip company that designs and markets re-programmable, non-volatile integrated memory solutions for a wide variety of applications.
Our nvSRAM architecture allows for infinite read/writes cycles and fast memory access times of 15ns because of the use of standard SRAM. The non-volatile cells boast 20 year data retention ratings in all specified temperature ranges (commercial, industrial, and military). Our proprietary nvSRAM technology, which integrates ‘Fast SRAM + non-volitile’ memory eliminates the need for unreliable batteries from the system design while offering the smallest board space area and bill-of materials.
Simtek recently entered a multi-year strategic licensing and development agreement with Cypress Semiconductor.
