The primary objectives of the MKR program for a public company are as follows:
  • To develop an effective and comprehensive MKR communications program utilizing internal and external resources as appropriately and efficiently as possible.

  • To assist management in creating and maintaining an open dialogue with the Wall Street community, while not compromising management’s main priority of running the company.

  • To assist and counsel management on disclosure and crisis issues.

  • To provide a continual source of feedback regarding investors’ perception of the company and its strategic initiatives.

  • To contribute to the maintenance of the company’s market valuation, through expanded research coverage and a continuous flow of institutional and retail interest and sponsorship.

  • To enhance and elevate the visibility of the company amongst investor and Internet communities through a comprehensive and strategic press and Internet outreach efforts.
